Superhero party here I come!

I am invited to a motto birthday party and it’s superheroes & super villains! I love this, couldn’t do that one often enough!

Last time I went to one, I was Harley Quinn. For those who do not know her: Batman opponent and madly (in the literal sense) in love with the Joker! That’s the costume:

I made this costume myself, because a skin-tight bodysuit Harley normally wears just isn’t for me! :D I was pretty pleased with the outcome!

This time I’ll be a hero instead of a villain! Since I just saw The Avengers and all, I was searching through the internet and stumbled upon the lady’s Captain America dress and I like it.

Well. I won’t have my boobs right under my chin, but the costume’s cool. It actually comes with the things to put over a pair of normal boots! Yay!

Good idea or what? Any other suggestions?

I needed a dress for the 20s-themed event Bohéme Sauvage in Hamburg. So I took an old pattern and altered it to look gourgeous in December 2011.

fabric: jersey and stretchy net/lace. I bought 2m each at Stoffmarkt Holland.

brooch: flea market
